Easter may be different this year but you can still enjoy a wholesome breakfast casserole that is super simple to make and perfect for sharing among the family at home. Make it the night before and pop it in the oven on Easter Sunday.
7 Pace Farm eggs, beaten
1 cup ham, diced
2 cups milk
4 cups bread cubes
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, melted
Cut bread into bite-sized cubes and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Dice ham into small cubes to make 1 cup. Then layer evenly over bread cubes.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over bread and ham.
Combine eggs, milk and salt, and whisk until well mixed. Pour over bread, ham and cheese layers. Cover with aluminium foil and refrigerate overnight.
Remove foil then pour over melted butter on top of the casserole before baking.
Bake at 180℃ for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set in the middle.
