For more than 40 years, the Pace Farm brand has been a trusted part of Australians’ everyday lives. Founded as a family farm in Western Sydney during the 1970s, Pace Farm has grown into one of the largest egg producers in the country.

Along with this growth, we remain committed to our family-farming origins, proudly supporting our teams and the rural and regional communities in which we operate across the eastern seaboard.

Our Heritage

Pace Farm was started by Frank Pace and his family who had a vision of providing farm-fresh nutritious eggs to Australian families. Over the decades, this dedication to excellence, innovation and community made the company a household name.

Along the way, Pace Farm has been on an evolutionary journey to deliver on customer expectations, whether that’s on our quality, our animal welfare process or our sustainability credentials.

In 2023, Pace Farm entered a new chapter when it was acquired by Roc Partners, an Australian investment company known for its commitment to sector-leading, profitable businesses. Under Roc Partners, we’re building on our family legacy and positioning ourselves at the forefront of the egg industry, ensuring our business thrives for generations to come.

Expanding across the south

In 2025, Pace Farm strengthened its position as a leader in the Australian egg industry through the acquisition of Kinross Farms, one of Victoria’s most respected egg producers. With more than 50 years of family farming history, Kinross Farms was known for its commitment to innovation, productivity, bird welfare and product quality.

This acquisition brings new free-range, barn-laid, cage and rearing farms and a sustainable composting site. This is supported by state-of-the-art grading floors and processing facilities. Along with the acquisition came a team of innovative egg producers who join the Pace Farm family, strengthening our position as one of the world’s leading egg brands.

Our Operations

Today, Pace Farm is a vertically integrated company that oversees every step of the egg production process. With 44 sites at 33 locations across the eastern seaboard, including company-owned and contract grower facilities, we manage egg farms, rearing farms, grading sites and processing facilities. Our range of eggs includes organic, free-range, cage-free and cage eggs, meeting the varied preferences of Australian consumers.

Our operations are supported by a dedicated team of 500 employees who work in farming, processing, transport, and other critical roles. Their expertise and commitment drive our success and help us deliver quality farm-fresh eggs and egg products to major supermarkets, retail outlets, and the food service industry.

At Pace Farm, sustainability is more than a commitment; it is the foundation of how we operate and grow.

Guided by our vision of eggs for everyone, we are dedicated to providing safe, nutritious and affordable eggs while ensuring our practices contribute positively to the environment, society, and our stakeholders.

The Pace Farm Sustainability Framework reflects this dedication, outlining our objectives, initiatives, and measures of progress toward creating a sustainable future.

Our sustainability efforts are grounded in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

By addressing key challenges and opportunities in these areas, we aim to reduce our environmental impact, produce an affordable, accessible, nutritional source, foster social well-being, and uphold robust governance.

Our Farms

At Pace Farm, we put the welfare of our hens at the heart of our business.

Whether our hens are raised in free range, barn or cage systems, we ensure every hen is well cared for, reflecting our commitment to their wellbeing and the quality of our eggs.

Our free-range hens enjoy fresh air and sunlight, allowing them to engage in natural behaviours such as foraging and dustbathing for up to eight hours daily. At night, they are securely housed in safe barns.

With fewer than 10,000 hens per hectare, there’s plenty of space for natural activities. On select farms, our Rotational Range System lets hens move across different pastures, helping regenerate the land and keep them grazing throughout the year.

Our barn hens and cage hens are protected from disease and inclement weather, cared for by teams that know the best tasting eggs come from healthy hens.

Egg Standards of Australia Accreditation

All our farms, whether they’re owned by Pace Farm or our contract partners, are accredited as Level 3 with Egg Standards of Australia. This is the highest standard in this voluntary quality assurance program, indicating fully developed compliance systems and record keeping in accordance with the requirements of major retail customers.

Supporting our communities
